Education Is A Right

Demonstrations to call for an end to student debt, and a national tuition for all program.

Saturday, September 30th 2017

Student’s march has one simple mission, and that is to guarantee that a quality education is made a right for all citizens. Higher education is a necessity in the world today, but there are millions of hardworking young people all across the country who either can’t afford college, or are financially crippled as a result of it.

That’s why a national coalition of students is forming around Students’ March, to take to the streets on September 30th to demand:

That a national tuition for all plan is implemented nationwide, that student loan forgiveness programs are substantially expanded, that all campuses are made sanctuary campuses, and that we say NO to the privatization of education proposed by Betsy DeVos and the Trump administration.

This is a movement built by young Americans, because we realize that our future is in our own hands, and it is up to us to bring about the change that we seek. The future belongs to the youth of America, and we are prepared to build a better world, starting with our schools.

Education is a basic right belonging to ALL people, and we will make this message heard.
